EASY DIY Laundry Detergent with Tea Tree + Eucalyptus Essential Oils

This recipe is super low tox and really easy to make!

❌Does not contain....

Phosphates, colours or dyes, ammonia, synthetic fragrances = means better for you & the earth.

This is such a great recipe I have been using for many years and is super low tox and costs under $10 to make.

So it works out to be about 40 washes in total for this recipe and about $.15-$.20c per wash! 🤸🏼


I also added about half a cup of salt because this acts as a clothes softener, but that’s this is totally optional.

Most of the low tox recipes often contain borax, which I don’t like using. They sometimes contain soap flakes or require you to grate soap… which is quite annoying. 🤪 I’m mean who wants to do that?! No thanks. I got my glass container from @kmartaus . I used 100% sodium percarbonate which is also called Oxygen Bleach.

I love using these 2 essential oils as they are fresh and cleansing but also help to prevent mould and have known antibacterial properties which is perfect for the laundry.
